A workshop series that sparks critical and creative thinking in children.
The Challenge
In Morvarid village, youth faced limited access to developmental opportunities, social isolation, and minimal future-facing skills. Existing support systems often relied on top-down charity models with little focus on long-term, community-led change.
This project has built roots in the community and continued for the past two years and now local facilitators have started a childcare centre in the library for their community.
Our approach
SEED designed a seven-month community-based program focused on life skills, problem solving, and personal agency. The project centered around local facilitators and multi-generational participation using hands-on learning.
Over the past two years, this project has taken root locally. Today, community facilitators lead the work themselves, including the launch of a childcare centre in the village library. Our team continues to offer support and resources to help strengthen the community, one community at a time.
