A world where every child has access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive regardless of background, ability, language, gender, or any other difference.
MISSION
We work with communities to co-create learning experiences that honor each child’s uniqueness and nurture confidence, curiosity, and compassion.
History
Founded in 2019 as a federally registered non-profit in Canada, SEED was created to address educational inequities affecting children in Iran, Afghanistan, and their diasporic communities. In 2024, SEED received registered charity status in Canada (Registration No. 776281735RR0001).
Geographical Reach
SEED focuses on children facing educational inequities due to economic, geographic, ethnic, gender, or ability-related challenges in Iran, Afghanistan, and diaspora communities. While prioritizing these groups, SEED welcomes collaboration with every other community globally.
SEED bridges local community engagement with global collaboration. Our international team of designers, researchers, educators, and developers spans from North America to India.
SEED operates independently, funded through international grants, individual donations, and co-founders' investments.
Our team actively pursues diverse funding to expand our reach and impact. We are committed to transparency, with annual tax returns and financial reports available upon request.
