SEPIDEH SHAHI
Director of design and community development
Sepideh Shahi is an inclusive designer and researcher. Over the years, she has practised design from different perspectives, as a product designer, researcher, facilitator, professor, and an entrepreneur. Those experiences combined with her passion for social justice inspired the creation of Seed foundation.
At Seed, Sepideh leads the design process of different projects. She is involved in the community building efforts to ensure each project is grounded within the community. She advocates for design strategies that enable communities at the margin to share their insights and experiences.
Sepideh holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design from OCAD University in Canada and Art University of Tehran in Iran. She has received her Master of Design from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.
